My Approach
Holistic, Warm, Open-Minded

I believe to achieve success in therapy first starts with the therapeutic relationship. This relationship is a collaborative relationship that takes effort from both the client and therapist. It relies on being honest, non-judgmental, empathetic, and developing a safe, encouraging and trusting environment for all my clients. I believe the client is the expert of their lives and therefore I will meet you right where you are as we take this journey together. 

What to expect from working with me- 

I conduct both Virtual and In-person sessions. I offer a free 15-minute consultation for all potential clients. Virtual sessions are done over Zoom. For out-of-pocket clients, I use IVY PAY for billing, which is a HIPAA Compliant platform. Consent forms are signed electronically using an EHR prior to the start of session. During the initial intake, we will go through financial responsibilities, confidentiality, session length and what to expect in session. Gradually, we will explore early life experiences, emotions, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors as you guide us to your present self. After the first few sessions, we will identify goals that you would like to focus on throughout our sessions. We will revisit your goals and adjust as needed. I utilize an eclectic and integrative approach with an emphasis on Psychodynamic, CBT and DBT. My approach recognizes each person's individuality with cultural sensitivity.
