Opportunity for Pre-Licensed Mental Health Counseling Students Looking to Gain Practicum or Internship Hours Towards NYS Licensure, and Diagnostic Privilege: Currently Accepting Resumes

Supervisee Requirements:

Supervisee must be in a 60-credit master's degree program in mental health counseling, and on track to completing their degree in Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling, or Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. (other acceptable abbreviations, Pre-Licensed LCMHC, LMHC.)
Supervisee must submit a resume which list current educational and professional experiences.
Supervisee must obtain malpractice insurance of their own and be able to submit an electronic copy upon applying.
Supervisee will be open to working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Clinical Supervised Experience/Hours will range and be adjusted based on supervisee, and client availability.
Supervisee will follow the ACA code-of-ethics.

What's Offered:

Supervisee will be provided with 1 hour of in-person supervision per week.
Supervisee will be able to connect via phone call, facetime, text or email with supervisor during designated hours Monday-Friday.
Supervisee will be able to gain knowledge, and support with building the therapeutic relationship, completing MSE, evaluating, assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, and session note taking.
Supervisee will be able to utilize a fully furnished office space located in Park Slope, Brooklyn to conduct in-person sessions. (shared space, days limited)
Potential Clients will be provided with a consent form to acknowledge and consent to therapeutic services with an intern under a Licensed Mental Health Professional.
Supervisor will sign off on direct-clinical hours for NY State Licensing Board.
Optional- Supervisee will gain support in creating a Psychology Today Profile.
Supervisee will receive the book, "Note Designer" by Patricia C. Baldwin, Ph.D.
